For me The Outback is an ideal, a wake dream, part imaginary lacking physical form and part real with an overwhelming force and the ability to move you. It’s a place between places. A primordial realm where not even nature laws can always prevail and those rules which endure are different and unlike anything you may have expected. A place where sometime you can escape to, and sometime you can’t escape from. It seems to me like a perfect place to roam and store thoughts, ideas, weirdness, and things I knowing they will flourish untouched and unmodified though time. A perfect place where I can rule, wander, observe or whatever I feel like it…
